How does the Hotline work?
If you come across illegal images, simply click the Child ALERT button on your browser and the website will disappear. The Department of Internal Affairs will then be instantly notified of the material and will prevent any further access to this site.

There are two ways you can report through Child ALERT. The easiest way is for you to
download the Child ALERT plug-in. This is free and will allow you to automatically report a website you think is illegal. The other way is for you to report an offending site by making a
manual report.
